Sanity Melts Like Lemon Drops

I like whippets. And I like any animal made to exhibit human qualities. "Like," however, doesn't get anywhere near my thoughts on the below video of a whippet eerily singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."

I can only hope the the person who made this did so specifically to disturb the people tricked into watching it and not because he or she actually thought the above video would actually induce happiness. Now it's your problem, I suppose. Let's cross our fingers and hope that the dreams that we dare to dream do not, in fact, come true.

  1. That's just wrong.

Especially since some sighthounds actually do like to "sing"--if you put the phone on speaker Mookie starts warming up for Happy Birthday even before the connection is made.

  2. Hi. I found your blog looking for this, and I figure you might know. I can remember playing this game at my cousin's house when I was a kid. It wasn't a Super Mario game, but I think Mario was in it. I don't think Mario was even in the name. I can't remember what it was called. I looked at lists of old Nintendos and didn't see it. It wasn't anything like regular Super Mario. And I think Wario was in it and would keep you from blowing stuff up. Can you tell me what this game is?

  3. I think you're thinking of Wrecking Crew, which came out so many years back. It's on the Wii Virtual Console now, I think. But it's not Wario. It's this weird character named Foreman Spike, who's kind of strange. Perhaps I should write about this.

  4. LOL! I am the he or she that made this video! If I have made one person ponder, become disturbed, or have thoughts of my silly videos in their head---then I have indeed succeeded in something--not sure what. You have made me smile and for that I thank you!
