Here Comes the Supercopter

Some might call him a squatter. I chose to call him a delightfully unexpected guest. He lives on the window in the hallway.

spider on my window

My camera’s zoom exaggerates his size slightly, however; he’s actually slightly larger than my thumb rather than slightly smaller. Neat, right? The camera does not exaggerate his hairiness or overall creepiness.

  1. I don't know, I've always heard the camera adds 15 pounds of hairiness and overall creepiness.

    Or is that freshman year?

  2. The weight you get freshman year is mostly from beer. And hopes and dreams. But you usually lose it all about a year after graduation.

  3. Ha! That's funny. And that spider is a bucket full of terrifying. I don't even want to think about how horrifyingly huge that looks. I can't imagine it being larger than a thumb, unless you have Mickey Mouse hands.

  4. I actually do have Mickey Mouse hands. I'm kind of offended you'd bring it up. I am very sensitive about my condition, which, among other things, prevents me from bowling.

  5. That's very tarantula-like. Maybe it's somebody's escaped pet? Are you going to let him continue living there? Are you going to document his growth or lifestyle?

Are you going to name him?

    You should.

  6. Ha, I'm sorry. If it helps, I have very, very tiny wrists and crooked fingers. I must be lashing out at you with jealousy of your big hands =P Well, you know what they say about guys with big hands...Big hands...strong grip.
