NeoGAF has posted an interesting graph that shows how various
Mario games have sold in Japan. See that big Fiery Mario on the far right? That tells you that Japanese gamers have collectively purchased 6,810,000 copies of the original
Super Mario Bros. That's probably not surprising, but the runner-up may be. The Japanese apparently love
New Super Mario Bros. enough to sent 4,419,952 copies flying off shelves.
