Eleven Was a Racehorse

Notables and worth-your-times from my Google Reader shared clips.
And, finally, a horrifying clip from The Adventures of Mark Twain, a claymation adaptation of the author's stories. This particular clip is the adaptation of Twain's unfinished work, The Mysterious Stranger. One of the creepier things I've seen in a long time.

As always, you can see my Google Shared clips or even subscribe to the feed if you so desire.

  1. "I am an angel."
    "What's your name?"

Dear god. They showed this to children?

  2. Well, Satan was technically and Angel.

  3. P.S., freaktastic clip should be operational again.

  4. I was originally exposed to this claymation clip on my Death Rock buddy, Razor Candi's myspace. We're both big fans of Lovecraft and Hellraiser, so we love it. It didn't have the beginning attached and had music dubbed over it so I didn't know it was from an actual written work... so now I have to read it.

It's funny that atheist Mark Twain would so accurately depict Satan's role as an angel according to angelological (perhaps the right form of the word?) beliefs.
