Roxy Monoxide

Two truths and a lie: The following is a list of odd or otherwise notable ways in which people arrived at this blog. The following is a list of odd or otherwise notable ways in which people arrived at this blog. The following is not a list of odd or otherwise notable ways in which people arrived at this blog.
  1. Dunzo. I use it, anyway.
  2. Of all the odd hits my blog hits for pornography featuring various fictional characters, this one strikes me as the strangest yet, especially when a search for Scarlett Johansson herself would have likely turned up far better results.
  3. The number one hit, though I have no idea what this person could have actually been looking for.
  4. The number one hit, and I understand exactly what this person was looking for.
  5. As good as opportunity to any to direct people toward my essay on how much I hate
    Peter Gabriel’s “Games Without Frontiers.”
  6. Given that was searched on the Algerian version of Google, it could mean anything, but I would like to think that this search term resulted from a mistyped effort to learn about ogre culture cereal. Because that would be amazing.
  7. Number one hit!
  8. I am only noting this because it marks one of the few times that someone Googled a question that I actually answered on my blog.
  9. With a name like that, I sure as hell hope not.

Hey. This showed up on my Google Alert for the band Roxy Monoxide. I'm a big fan. Is there some connection to the band in this post that I am not getting?

  2. I think I new Roxy Monoxide was a band, but this post was named in honor of the Simpsons character, who is really more of a throw-away joke than anything else. On the episode where Moe gets un-ugly and stars on a soap opera.

The magic of Google informs me that on this soap opera --- the title of which is It Never Ends --- an actress named Allegra Hamilton plays both Roxy Monoxide and her twin, Sister Bernadette.
