No One to Say Meow

I found this image whilst doing a Google image search for my website. I’m not sure why this showed up. And I’m not sure what it is.

But I’m creeped out regardless. I found it here. It originally showed up somewhere here. The natural explanation, of course, would involve some form of Photoshoppery, but that's no fun now, is it?

That's it. THIS PICTURE ALONE convinces me of the veracity of aliens.

It shows up because, on the same page of the forum thread, "mannythepoolshark" posts a link to a photo hosted by your blog to demonstrate that shutter speed in photographs of solid, opaque moving objects can make them appear transparent. Google's image search is still a little sloppy. That one's simple.
What I find suspect is on the next page of the thread, page three - some character named "dreamingawake" proposes that the cryptid in question is an anteater, and posts a photo of one. Coincidence?
