XBox? X Box? X-Box? X-box? XBOX? X-BOX? x-Box? xBox?
Maybe it's my lifelong affiliation to all things Nintendo, but I haven't got a clue. Fortunately, two of my galaxies of interest have collided in a wondering smashing-apart of worlds the likes of which someone of my tastes rarely gets to see. Presenting: The Videogame Style Guide and Reference Manual. For the sake of argument, I would have rather written it as "video game" and not the needlessly collided "videogame," but nonetheless this is a product I could be interested in. By virtue of this blog being about whatever I want, I occasionally find myself having to make up my own rules for grammatically representing names and terms specific to video games. (For example: one Birdo, two Birdos.)
Personal, I'd be happy to see a rule explaining how to set off the titles of video games in general style guides. Italicized? In quotes? Nothing? Why shouldn't it be set off somehow?
